I think it came out this year, its about a guy who details his gambling ups and downs. He must gamble ,000/day playing all kinds of games from poker to scratch tickets. His intent was to show that you can’t win gambling, but he actually ends up doing rather well (at least at the start) and even gets a Royal flush while writing the book. He was interviewed on the Howard Stern show regarding this book, that’s where I heard about it.

They look at MANY things. Your credit history is a HUGE part. But, they want to see bank statements for at least 2 months (most want 6 months these days) to ensure the money you have for a down payment is truly YOUR money and is seasoned. In addition, they will want your W-2′s for the last 2 years and they’ll want your paystubs from your company for at least 2 months (some want it for longer). There are other documents they’ll want to see as well.

As to internet gambling/recreation… If they see you still have lots of $$ in the bank after that, then they won’t care. They need to ensure you have $$ for your down payment and money to pay your mortgage… many banks want to see 2-3 months of payments in savings.

Are those gambling cheat cards the best advice? I’ve seen little credit card sized cards that list what to do in Blackjack based on the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand. Are those the best strategy?

Those cards are basic strategy cards. They give you the play where the odds are going to be best in your favor. In the long run, you are better off playing using the basic strategy on those cards.

It is illegal in Texas. The only legal form of gambling in Texas is the lottery. They don’t intend to change the laws on it soon. They just bumped another request to legalize gambling last month. If you want to gamble, even online you need to cross the border. I am about an hour from Louisiana where you can gamble. Also you can hop a ship in Galveston and go out so many miles from shore where it is legal. They have daily trips offshore specifically for gambling.

computers, movies, games, web hosting, and casino online. those are the websites. Here are the folders: Cool Stuff, Travel, Shopping Gifts, Internet, Computers, Online Gaming. These are so annoying I’m too scared to click on the websites, and I can’t delete them at all. Please tell me how I can get rid of them.

They will never cancel your account. You will continue to give them money as long as you’d like.

If you’ve been lucky enough to actually win money, that’s all you’ve been – lucky. You WILL lose. You have NOT figured out some secret method to beat these casinos. They WILL take your money eventually.

If you actually have won some money, I’d strongly suggest trying to withdraw it now while you can.
