Yes. They have the right to charge you for anything and you have the right not to go there.

  1. Definately… resort fees are equivilence of room daily charges… so a hotel thats 30 dollars a night with a 15 dollar resort charge and a 40 dollar a night with no charge… you do the math on whats better. Just a way for them to advertise the price lower I guess. Also, most fees ar due in full at check in.

  2. Unfortunately the answer is yes, you must pay the resort fee.

Even if you do not plan to use any of the resort services, you will be charged the resort fee for your stay.

  3. Resorts fees started when the hotel had to reduce the room rate, to make up the difference. That fee also includes access to most swimwing pools. I would expect you can tell them upon registration you do not want to access those services.

paying the resort fee upon checking into the hotel is mandatory so yes, you have to pay the resort fee.

  5. Yes, you do have to pay the resort fee. It is not optional, and you can’t opt out by declining those services. The Harrah’s group of hotels (Harrah’s, Bally’s, Flamingo, Rio, Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Imperial Palace, Paris) still do not charge resort fees.

  6. This is not the best place to ask that question, you should ask an attorney. Probably an attorney who specializes in contract law.
