no not really

I am all for internet sports gamebooks. It lets those of us unfortunate enough to be stuck in a non gambling area and too broke to leave, the chance to enjoy betting on games.
As far as I now it happens the legality of the betting is just accommodation of rephrasing and the profits if you win has to be reported to the IRS that along will make me furious share my gains with the Government !!!, the odds always be against you by a mathematical point of view your chances are dim but if you enjoy spending your money in such manner !! I wish you good luck ,better lucky than good!!and stop being naive if you believe in those ads be more skeptical
If the gambling involves actual money, it is illegal for a minor to participate. This website does not operate like that. They give you 10 cents ‘play’ money to start with. Once you have a balance of ‘play’ money more than $10, they send you an AlertPay transfer dollar for dollar. Or you can trade your ‘play’ money for items. This is possible through the site’s advertisers. You can’t deposit real money into the website, so technically it is not ‘gambling’ if real money is not involved. It is actually illegal to operate a website that allows users to deposit money from a financial institution into an internet gambling account and use that money to gamble online. It has been since 2006, thanks to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
I believe it is under the federal guidelines set.
