Hi, I live in Mexico city and I’ve been looking for an “epiphone casino” for some time, of course without any succes, as it’s kind of difficult to find those kind of instruments here, I really want an electric guitar and I’ve found an epiphone sheraton II, which looks very much like the casino (both are semi hollowbodied guitars), reading some reviews on the internet I’ve found the sheraton is a much better guitar than the casino, but I’ve always loved the casino “beatle” sound, and I don’t know if I will get such sound with the sheraton, also, I read the sheraton is highly used to play jazz, which I don’t really want to do, before doing anything I would like to receive an advice of someone who knows about these kind of guitars, so, what do you think, should I buy the sheraton or should I wait till I find the way to get a casino?

I have not played either, but that is exactly what I would recommend that you do anyway. Go to a place that has each guitar, wrap your fingers around it and figure out which one you can’t live without.

From what I can see online, the price is just about the same (9) unless you want a left handed model. According to About.com, the Casino is currently manufactured in Korea, but according to Epinions, both guitars are manufactured in the U.S.A. The main difference that would concern me is that the Casino features single coil pickups and the Sheraton sports Humbuckers. That goes back to the type of sound you are looking for. You are going to get more “bite” with the Casino, but more hum as well. The Casino is supposedly a little lighter than the Sheraton, but the Sheraton is decked out with pretties. If you are a fan of the Beatles, you are going to want the Casino, especially if you are going for that sound. From the scant bit of research I have done, I would prefer the Sheraton. It is the closest in design and electronics to my Gibson, although you are going to want to wrap your hands around a few before you pick one up because the quality of the pickups is reported to be sporadic, especially the neck pickup. Online poker is quite different.

Make sure you really understand the rules, and the way the game plays out (in terms of blinds, big blinds et). Normally online poker will prompt you, so you dont need to think about it, but at a real poker table, you really need to know whats going on so you dont look foolish.

If other players can see that you dont really know whats going on, they will target you and you will be *slaughtered*.

Also read up about etiquette. There are certain things you can do in online poker that would be considered rude at a real table.

You will most likely lose heavily at your first few games at a real poker table. Factor this into your budget, and make sure you know how much you are planning to spend *before* you sit down, and stick to it. Over time you will become more comfortable with playing at a table, and become better. There’s no real substitute for experience though.

Finally: If you are going in the hope of playing well, then AVOID ALCOHOL.
If you just want to have a fun time, and dont mind losing the money you take to the casino, then sure, drink, and enjoy the ride, but expect to lose

I believe the way that they make it legal is because the servers you are accessing are technically in states where gambling is legal. I would just stick to one of the bigger, more well know sites and you should be fine. Casinos are illegal here in Ohio but I know that you can play online poker and stuff. Nevada is the only state that offers legalized sports betting (although Delaware does offer parlay cards at this time as well). It won’t be easy over the internet. Try using google scholar to search for papers focused on allometry and morphometrics of long bones. You’ll probably find scattered information on specific mammalian taxa.
Here are some useful citations (papers with lots of measurements):

Does anyone else agree with me that you should find someone closer to you and not online somewhere where only god knows where they live? I just realized this and it took me all this time to realize. Relationships on this website are pointless because you end up heartbroken.

Also the guy you like might not turn out to be who he says he is. For anyone on this website who is considering this an official dating website maybe you should look at the community guidelines where it says that yahoo is not meant to be a dating site. Just saying. Does anyone else agree with me here?
