Is internet gambling illegal now?
Question by Blog: Is internet gambling illegal now?
I just recently saw an ad saying “stop internet gambling”. I clicked it and it says internet gambling is illegal.

Internet gambling has always been illegal in the US. At least, betting on sports games online has been. If you were gambling online, chances are the website was run out of a country like Canada, where it isn’t illegal. Either that or the webmasters just decided to ignore American law.
Technically, the only place its really legal to gamble are in casinos that have a license to…well, exist. Individual states grant these licenses, and currently no state offers licenses for online gambling.

It’s not a yes/no question. Even the legal eagles can’t arrive at a consensus on the whole. The legal eaglettes are all over the board.

No it’s not illegal, the transaction occurs on a foreign server. The bet is made there, not in the US.
It is illegal if the server is located in the USA, If the server is located outside of the USA, and a USA player makes a deposit it is all legal.
http://online18casino.com is a quality casino that is USA friendly accepting all USA players 18+
Internet gambling legality depends on the jurisdiction, gambling in some countries may not be legal.
