well I’d be more concerned with following the money and finding out who they are selling those animals to and for what purpose, as well as what they are doing with the advanced payment (if they are actually sending the animals)…here they get time if it’s illegal, but strangely it’s not as much time as you and I would want. Why not just solve the christianity part about it and turn in what you see going wrong?

Some people say it is second life and some people say that it is half life. If you ask a question about gambling you hear about State laws? They do not apply to internet play.. for your info! Also note that I am way beyond the age of consent, I just do not play for money on line. I was just suggesting that on many sites you can play free money. All you do is register and pay nothing. If they are not honest using free money, would one play for real? There will always be some that play against all odds! My opinion is that the International should regulate sites that have gambling on them! If their internet connection is very questionable, they should be blocked! This means that we want honesty in game play.. no matter if free of not! We have real billiards and demand they are honest.. or could be a fight, right? I am not talking about the hustle.. that is not being dishonest.. it is called sandbagging in bowling, right? One plays the odds, even in free play! These depend on the sites.. Some you need to loose points so someone will play you! You gain points on some more than fun money! If allowed, you will play for more on each game. If you see your points too high… meaning others never want to play you, you sandbag.. or hustle.. loose the little fun money and loose points. I have heard others get very angry.. maybe they agree with those that break thumbs? One does not force another to play.. right? It is choice,., ha.. sounds familiar, doesn’t it.. I mean being responsible for our own actions?

I try to teach online and I have found this a real awakening! PRIDE! It does not matter if I were a beginner, I would get angry if someone wanted to suggest or help! That is how we are raising our children, worldwide! Get away with what you can, because all is relative! Note that Einstein called for a media interview to warn us all against this same thing! What do you think? Should we break thumbs; reject helps; go with pride? I found out the hard way.. to learn a sport you play someone better than you are.. you watch their play and see if you can use it in anyway! Should we ask for honesty as a support on free sites to show our children good examples or has honesty been declared relative, also? Earl

Sorry this is kinda long… I know pretty much that the argument for these places is that you are purchasing internet time towards a computer station, and the internet time you purchase adds points that you can play slot machines at the computers in these Sweepstakes centers. Over the years in NC, there have been bills that were supposed to be passed to make it illegal to have these internet cafes or Sweepstakes places, but the owners of these places always find loopholes to get around the gambiling laws. I’ve read articles on the internet about Virginia being more strict when it comes to people operating these businesses and police have even raided some of the businesses. Last year in NC there was supposed to be a ban, and I do understand some of the reasoning as to why owners are saying it’s not breaking gambiling laws. I’ve heard them say that people aren’t really gambling at these places, they are using internet time to get points towards gambling. But, really I think it’s the same thing, and some people spend a lot of money towards points for the slot machines, and don’t really use the internet, and actually end up probably paying more a month for internet than if they were to sign up at home. What exactly are these loopholes in the gambling laws in NC that allow more Sweepstakes to be open? I know recently a couple months ago, these places had to change their computer system around to avoid breaking the law and stay in business. Why was there talk a year ago about banning these places here in NC, and now I have seen several new Internet Sweepstakes centers opening up in my town and the town next to me? What are the exact gambling laws, and is there a website all about the gambling laws in NC, and how it bypasses the laws? I have no problem and don’t care if people go to these places, it’s up to them what they do with their money, and people should know their limitations, but it seems to me it’s just the same thing as gambling like in Las Vegas. Any info will be helpful

Bottom line – Are these business owners making tons of money by doing this? Yes. Therefore they have lots of money to buy off the politicians that make the laws. Politicians COULD make laws with no loopholes. Why don’t they? Because they want to appear to the public to care about the public’s well-being, while at the same time pleasing their Masters – BUSINESS.

being a professional gambler is not what i intend to do for the rest of my life, but i am good at it, and it requires disclipine, good management and old fashioned smarts. it seems like a no-brainer to put something like that on your resume, yet gambling is stigmatized: the notion of a gambler classically conjures images of a compulsive, narcissistic sociopath, not to even mention the association any gambling has with unscrupulous law-breaking bookies. is this really resume material? what about my medical school application?

Unfortunately, there is no good way for the average person to make money on line. Almost all money making sites on the web are scams. Under no circumstances should you give any money making site your credit card number. Never sign up for any “free” service that is free for one month and then you have to cancel it to avoid credit card charges. You will find it very hard to cancel. The phone number they give you to cancel may always be busy, so you can’t cancel. They will often charge your credit card even after you think you have cancelled. Never give a survey site your bank account number or personal information.

Many sites claim you can make money by filling out surveys or clicking on ads or some other silly method. They screw you around answering some surveys and then try to push the “free” offers that you have to charge to your credit card. One common trick they play is that they let you make 5-10 dollars easily. But their website rules say you have to earn 40 dollars before they send you a check. To make the extra money you have to participate in “free” offers. I have played around on some of these sites and it always come down to them wanting to get your credit card number in the end. Don’t let them.

You will find many people on this site that claim they made a lot of money at such-and-such a website. They are usually liars trying to make money. For instance they will say: “Go to cashcrap . com/q2347.” The “q2347″ is a signal to the cashcrap site that you are being referred to them by “q2347.” If they sucker money out of you, “q2347″ gets a kickback. These coded signals can be hidden by different methods in the link. Other people will refer you to their own private website or blog for the purpose of trying to get money off you. The bad spelling and grammar is usually a good tip off of this.

Note that I say there is no good way for the AVERAGE person to make money on the internet. If you are not average, and have some special skill, you can make money. If you are good at selling things, try selling things on E-bay. If you are good at writing, set up a blog or other site and sell ads. If you are good at computer programming, try setting up a site that uses your skills. Since I don’t know what special skills you have, I have a hard time advising you on this.

However, if you go to a site that claims ANYBODY can make money, it is usually a scam

Things are not made illegal on the basis of how difficult they are to do. Stealing is real easy, and also illegal.
