Question by Jared: In casino craps, do they offer 1x odds?
Ive been learning this game on the internet and am fully aware the advantages of taking odds. However, I’m playing with no specific odds. In A.C. for instance, what is the most common offered odds? 3-4-5 or 5x etc. Im realizing how fast my bankroll will be gone if i have to take something like 5x odds for a 10$ pass line bet.

Another issue is i practice on a 5$ table and quickly work my way up to 30$ bet through a couple come bets with odds + my pass line bet. So now I see typical minimums are 10-15$ which can really screw me on my pass line bet on the opening roll. I’d rather not put that much on the pass right away so it seems i could use some strategic advice! Of course my reason for this is because I’m still kinda new to this game and would rather not piss money away on crap outs.

thanks

Answer by Matt
some smaller casinos do… not great wins though.

Question by Steven J Campbell: In casino craps what are the odds of winning a 6-8 press bet I’ve looked online and can’t find the answer?
A friend was asking me to use the “power of the internet” but it’s more a math question. Am not a craps player nor a mathemetician.

Answer by pdq
It’s hard to say because I’m not sure what you mean by a “6-8 press bet”.

If you place a bet on the number 6 or 8, the odds are 6 to 5 against you. Put another way, you have a 5 out of 11 chance of hitting the number, or a 45.45% chance of winning.

If you plan on trying to hit the number and then PRESS your bet and hit the number again, then your chances are only about 20.66%.

Question by Kevin O: Which online casino gives the best odds for craps?
I’ve gone to bodog and you can only bet 2x. Are there any casinos online that allow you to bet 10x or more. I want to casino to have the least advantage possible.
I’m referring to the amount you are allow to bet on the point after the point is reached. Please only answer if you know what I’m talking about. For instance, at Bodog, if you bet on the pass line, you can only bet to buy the point. I want an online casino that will allow me to bet more, or more. There are some casinos in Las Vegas that will allow you to do this. The Casino Royale allows 100x. Please help.

Answer by Johnson Jones
The number I’m thinking of is between -1 and 1.

The UK largest lottery is known as the National Lottery, which was set up under government licence in 1993. A statute of 1698 provided that in England lotteries were by default illegal unless specifically authorised by statute.

An 1934 Act legalised small lotteries, which was further liberalised in 1956 and 1976. There could be no big national lottery until the Government established one, however.

Several lottery games are run under this brand, including Lotto and Thunderball. As with other lotteries gamblers choose a set of numbers, say 6 from 50, with six numbers then being drawn at random. Lotteries gamblers win cash prizes depending on how many numbers they match. The national lottery launched a Pan European “super-lottery”, called EuroMillions in 2004. Currently 9 countries contribute.

In the United Kingdom the national lottery has so far raised several billions of pounds for Good Causes, a programme which distributes money via grants. 28% of lottery revenue goes towards the fund, along with all unclaimed prizes. Additionally, 12% goes to the state. The prize fund is 45% of revenue, with the remaining 15% going towards running costs and profits for the lottery organisers and ticket sellers.

The odds of specific combinations occurring in the United Kingdom national lottery are as follows:

Sports betting and gambling has a long history in the United Kingdom, having been controlled for many decades and more recently relaxed. The 1960 Act legalised off-course bookmakers. Pool betting on horses is a monopoly of the state owned Tote.

There is a large market in the United Kingdom for gambling and betting on competitive sports at bookmakers, particularly for horse racing, greyhound racing and association football. The latter also has an associated form of gambling known as the football pools, in which players win by correctly predicting the outcome of each weeks matches.

Sports betting is defined by the Gambling Act 2005 as the making or accepting of a bet on the outcome of a horse race, competition or other event or process. The likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring, or whether anything is or is not true.

Pool betting can be conducted remotely or no-remotely. Remote pool betting is conducted, for example, via an internet betting site run by one of the football pools operators. Non-remote pool betting in the UK is conducted in person (for example, the Tote, which accepts pool bets on tracks and in high street sports betting shops).

Sports betting intermediaries bring two or more parties together, but do not have liability for their bets. Sports betting intermediaries can be remote or non-remote. Remote sports betting intermediaries in the UK, which includes betting exchanges, generally operate through the internet. An example of a non-remote sports betting intermediary is a tic-tac, who normally works within a betting ring on a horse or greyhound racing track.
