What should I do since my son used my bank acct for an online gambling site?
Question by Gfdg Dghha: What should I do since my son used my bank acct for an online gambling site?
Hey everyone, my son used about 200$ worth for an online gambling site called pokerstars. Luckily he used an echeck to pay. So if I were to put all my money to a diff checking account, would the echeck just bounce, and be forgotten? His account will probably be banned but that’s fine.

I would immediately contact my bank and report this incident so that the e check would not clear. This may cause him some criminal charges but it might teach him a lesson against committing such a crime.

Closing the account will cause the check to bounce but you will be sued. If your son is under 18 yrs of age deal with the pokerstars customer service and give them fair warning to refund your money or face a lawsuit. Your son could be arrested. Suggest you just pay the bill, close the account, open a new one, keep your financial records locked up and have your son repay you the 200.
