So the Repukes can look like “Good God-Fearing”…..in spite of the pedophiles in their midst.
it’s meant to keep your money here not abroad. they want you to gamble with the Vegas or Atlantic city hotels. they will tell you that your money is safer. but gambling is just that gambling. you risk you money in hopes of winning the big pay day. whether you do it here or there the risk is th same.
The new law will make it illegal for US banks and credit card companies to process transactions with offshore gambling companies.
It’s all about taxes. Offshore gambling and their winners pay no taxes to the US Treasury. So the Congress & Bush decided to shut it down.
Quite simple, and quite predicatable.
